Q My topic for this project is the biggest retailer in the world- Wal-Mart Stores. Wal-Mart can be classified as an American multinational retail corporation. Initially from 1969-70 it was called Wal-Mart Inc., from 1970 we know it as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. The area of operation of Wal-Mart is worldwide and as of 2018 the revenue earned by the company is near about USD 500.34 billion. This makes Wal-Mart the world’s largest company revenue wise. Wal-Mart is also the largest private employer in the world with 2.3 million employees worldwide.
